Here is a historic 1956 Fender Bassman that was routinely used at the Grand ‘Ole Opry backing
country artists such as Hank Snow, Little Jimmy Dickens, Webb Pierce, and many others.
It comes from the estateĀ of the original owner Jody McCauley – steel guitarist extraordinaire.
Completely all original except the tolex and grill were removed with a black tolex and gold sparkle grills
added for a more “modern” 1960’s stage vibe.
All original transformer, speakers (still connected by cloth wire!)
Everything is time period correct.
Recently serviced and go to good with no issues.
Bassman is dead quiet.
All 4 original Alnico Jensens have been recently reconed.
Original caps still have life and are in acceptable range.
All bias, plate voltages are where they should be.
Plug and play and smile.
