Worlds oldest TALKBOX? w/ historical provenance

This talk box was used in the late 50’s/early 60’s with steel guitarist Jody McCauley and may pre-date Pete Drake in his mid 60’s adventures.

Jody backed many of the finest country artists in his time and performed at the Grand ‘Ole Opry many times.

He backed such legends as Hank Snow, Little Jimmy Dickens, George Jones, The Carter Family,

Red Foley, Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Wanda Jackson, Charlie Pride, and even Bo Diddley.

We are selling this on consignment for the McCauley family.
