Awesome hard to find cabinet as used by Wilco, Umphrey’s McGee in excellent condition. 

The cabinet is loaded with one Jensen Jet 12″ Lightning ceramic magnet speaker. The other is a Jensen Jet “Blackbird” Alnico magnet speaker.

Cabinet is wired for 8 Ohms.

Schroeder Amplification Sidecar 2×12 Speaker Cabinet

When Tim Schroeder was building his renowned archtop guitars, he couldn’t find an amp clean, warm, and clear enough to do them justice. This was the birth of Schroeder-built amplifiers — Tim needed something that would capture all the subtle beauty and nuance of his archtops’ tone! Years later the same problem would arise again. No cabinet existed that could do the Schroeder Amplifier justice. And so the Schroeder Amplification Sidecar 2×12 Speaker Cabinet was born!

 

Partially a homage to the Ampeg cabinets of yesteryear, the Sidecar is designed for an open, expansive tone. It features a ported design, allowing for great sound dispersion, and an organic and natural sound. Traditionally we load this cabinet with custom speakers from Jensen or Weber: one AlNiCo for sweet-sounding midrange, one Ceramic for punchy lows and clear highs. The resulting tone draws you in; a clean tone you can actually sink your teeth into! Chimey, rich, and clear, the Sidecar is the perfect mate for the SA9+ or any other amplifier where body, warmth, and clarity are a must!

Jensen Jet Lightning 

A modern, authoritatively voiced speaker, the Electric Lighting exhibits punchy, fast basses and crystal-clear highs, with a slightly throaty midrange. It covers well the ‘super cleans’ and ‘super overdrive’ tones typical of the most contemporary pop and rock music, up to the most extreme hi-gain, detuned or baritone applications.

Jensen Blackbird 100W 12″ Guitar Speaker

The Blackbird 12″ is an extremely warm and smooth 100W alnico speaker with a rich, fat low-end and sparkling highs. It handles overdrive distortion by bringing out colorful detail and holding strong even at maximum crunch.

The Blackbird, with its 100 watts of pure Alnico tone, is the highest watt Alnico speaker ever made. Jensen speakers are known primarily for their vintage tone. The original Jensen speakers’ Alnico magnet was well liked by musicians for the way it responded to the player’s touch. The Blackbird offers that same Alnico feel with a more modern tone and more power.
