We are Eclectic Sounds / aka: eclsounds – a store front in Portland, Or. We are open 7 days a week from 11 – 5 PST (by appointment)
This complete collection comes from the US ROLAND rep in the 1980’s. These guitars were made in the Fujigen plant and oneĀ is a prototype as told by the rep.
Both guitars have been setup by our luthier and play fantastic with no issues. However one of the guitars is not functioning with the GR-700 correctly
and should be considered as a backup parts guitar. We won’t be splitting the set up.
The maple neck G505 has a Dimarzio in the bridge and positions 2 and 4 areĀ wired out of phase.
GR700 – This thing is incredible with great sounds throughout. The expressiveness with vibrato and bending in unparrelled when using
these guitars. You’d think modern technology with 40 years of R&D could beat this but conventional guitar synths haven’t.
