Fantastic sounding loaded pick guard with AVn-62’s in the neck and middle with a SCn-b in the bridge.

The bottom tone knob is a push pull pot that gives you 5 more settings for 9++ total.

The tip of the pick guard previously broke off. No other flaws. Pickups sound great and have general wear.

Kinman K9 no Solder Harness on 3 ply 11 holes Loaded Pickguard White + Kinman Blues Set – SCn ™ (Bridge) + 2x AVn-62

Chris Kinman designed a complete electronic control kit to be mounted without any need for soldering. The kit includes tiny connectors to link the pickups to the five-way switch, and a miniature terminal strip that connects to the ready-wired jack socket. The pots and switch come ready-wired and there’s even a terminal strip slot for the grounding wire that goes to the back of the tremolo or bridge assembly. All you need to complete the job are a couple of screwdrivers, spanners for the pot and jack nuts.

Chris has also designed a system of switching/mixing options to extend the available tone. The K9 harness provides all 5 normal Strat sounds plus 4 new dimension sounds. The 6th, 7th and 8th sounds are variations of the distinctive Knopfler-esque quack sound while the 9th sound is in Gibson P-90 territory and provides boost in output for natural crunch sounds. It delivers a sweet, punchy tone, not unlike that from a P90 pickup and fading in the neck pickup makes a further tone available. These are selected with the lower Push/Push pot. Popping the knob out with the pickup selector switch in position 2 re-connects the Bridge & Middle from parallel into series.

The Blues set really rips according to Brett Kingman in the above YouTube demo. This set is slightly less aggressive, warmer, rounder Aged Strat* sound with milder attack than the Impersonator series or Traditional Mk-III set in clean mode and breaks into crunch more easily. Surprising Alnico detail with significantly less brightness ,,, medium strong output. The Blues set is also great for overdrive sounds with ‘clarity and TONE’ with Zero-Hum. An evergreen favorite with players all around the world.
Low magnetic string pull from our proprietary Alnico-K magnets for longer sustain and less string crash and fret buzz.
Some people will call these noiseless Stratocaster pickups but Kinman prefers to describe them correctly as Zero-Hum Stratocaster pickups. That’s because there are 2 types of noise, Hum which is cancelled in the pickup and Buzz which can only be minimized by shielding the wiring cavities
